Brunswick schools offer many, many co-curricular activities such as athletics, clubs and organizations, and other activities and events that extend classroom learning.

Participation in co-curricular activities stimulates creative thought, improves social and organizational skills, develops interests and talents, improves academic success, broadens horizons, and provides stress relief and relaxation.

The Brunswick School Department is committed to funding these activities. However, students are sometimes asked to provide their own supplies or equipment or contribute to the costs of the activities. These costs sometimes prevent students from being able to participate.

Brunswick Cares is an independent, non-profit organization dedicated to helping more Brunswick students participate in school-sponsored co-curricular activities. We do this by helping Brunswick schools alleviate expenses that would otherwise prevent students from participating in those activities.
